He most recently worked at the Lock Haven University Police Department, where he was involved in numerous law enforcement activities. Previously, he worked as a patrolman in Lower Makefield Township Police Department.

Police departments have continuously embraced new technologies over the years, many of which have changed how police officers accomplish their duties. In recent years, various technologies have been introduced to help police officers fight crime effectively. For instance, unmanned drones and remote robots have significantly transformed how the police perform their duties by providing real-time feedback to law enforcers. The police then use this information to effectively plan responses to crimes that are currently in progress.

Additionally, remote-controlled robots equipped with cameras are able to penetrate locations that police officers or SWAT teams can’t access without the risk of death or injury. Remote-controlled robots can even safely investigate bomb threats since they can access dangerous areas.

Furthermore, some police departments are using map-based apps that provide alerts of where criminals are located. Using this technology, officers can conduct patrols using a smartphone or tablet whose map app is open. The app then alerts officers of the location of an individual wanted for a crime in the area. Map-based apps provide situational awareness, which is integrated with records management and emergency call systems.
